Thank you for your prompt reply! It is exactly as you explained in the tutorial: in the center the original cables arrive with black insulation, blue insulation is for original configuration, yellow insulation is for yellow cable (type 3). In original mode I am avle to read the ecu and its faults, but when I switch to "yellow mode" I get my problems... Has anyone solved with this board?

No, they just come from the switch and to it they come from the original white cable plate. Should I take a photo of something in particular to show you?

Hello yasssix

No, that's not right
Also your BT OBD interface can read your Alfa 147!

Should at least for engine control unit you can connect
Only at Body, CAN setup, service may the error described in this thread

But the engine you can connect
check again the settings

Greetings Eddy

Hi Alfaeddy, according to you request on the pin connection, I made new photos on the boards and on the connections so you can see better how the cirquit is composed. Please let me know if you find something wrong on it.

On the connector cable there are two green wires coming from the original connection on pins 6 and 14, they are forwared from the switch on the blue cables on the same pins and on the pins 1 and 9 through the yellow cables with the other position of the switch. Wht I found over internet is that also another pin is switched with yellow adapter (pin 7 to pin 12) do I need to make also this switch or not?

Thank you in advance for your kind support

Hello Laserbit

I can not see any errors in your connections
as the switch is covered with insulation tape

But I do think you've made the correct connections. :-)

In my guidance you can still check the connections times
Einbau einer Umschaltung des CAN Bus.pdf
The connections from pin 7 to pin 12 we needed for the xenon headlights.
there is no need for switches. a direct connection is sufficient

Greetings Eddy

All connections are made properly, I doublechecked them with my multimeter, so the problem is probably the non original elm327?

hi

I do not think that's your problem not on the original ELM Interface

Because your OBD interface can indeed read (6 +14) CAN bus?
So it should also work with the switchover.

Does your switch to a high internal resistor??

Greetings Eddy

It discovers only the ecu and 2 modules (Abs and esp if I remember well).
Regarding the other request, no internal resistors resistors on the switch. Should I try to solder the pins directly crossed on the OBD port, so I will exclude the switch?
