Hi Eddy.

I've removed R04. It is seen on the picture which I've added to my previous post. Is that true? Or was it the wrong one?

Now it seems it connects.

I didn't try to connect with R04. Sorry, I have no info about the original situation.

Thank you for your help.

Hello obk

You must also use the R04 can connect to your ECU!

Just read airbag, service interval, CAN setup, etc. you remove the resistor R04 (121)

The original version of your ELMs is how did you buy it!

Greetings Eddy

I understood that removing R04 has no disadvantages for me. I'll connect all CAN and ECU modules without R04. I don't need to resolder R04. Am I right?

I bought it from a local seller, the cheapest one in the local market. So I didn't need to buy from ebay. But sure it is a chinese fake clone. It is a v1.5.

Also I have a question;

OBD socket location in my car is a bit hard. If I leave ELM327 plugged in all time, does it drain off my battery? Or may cause any other problems?

Hello obk

I have not measured the idle current of the ELM
But who is not highly

Alternatively you can use a switch on the terminal pin 16 install

Greetings Eddy

Please this time slowly

This ELM interface you can convert without something
on Fiat Stilo read the ECU / ABS / Steering

For the air bag you need a KKL interface

For the Fiat Croma
So you can read without a rebuild your ECU / ABS / xenon

Only for the airbag / Body Comp etc. you may need to change something on the interface.

If you get no connection to the ECU you have the settings / Com port set incorrectly
First check the time settings

Greetings Eddy

Hi,

I bought un'elm327, and when I go to read, with Fiat ECU scan, the data of ABS and airbags, I find the error that can not be read on the K-line to pins 5 and 7 ....... it seems to me;

Hi Giuseppe

Do you remove the Resistor in the red Frame marked in your Picture
and your ELM Interface read now CAN Bus

Thank you,
eliminating this resistance, therefore, can connect on CAN and on KKL?
We must not make any other changes to the pins?

Thanks

Very smart

Hallo Giuseppe

You must remove an Resistor not the Resistance ;)

The KKL Interface can not work with CAN Bus
So at the KKL is also nothing to change

Greetings Eddy
