FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)

Hi,
I have a elm327 interface witch i can use to connect to some of the Fiat Bravo (2008) ecu's but not to the body computer or the service reset.
I have read this thread an i think my interface has this problem.

Can anybody take a look on my board and tell me if i have any resistors to eliminate? or how i could modify my interface to connect on the CAN network.

Hi, I also have elm327 v1.5 and get error "noconnection to ECU--> last error :UNABLE TO CONNECT" , when i connect to car it shows only car battery voltage , but no ecu

Your description helps little.
You mean sure that when you plug the red LED?

What kind of vehicle do you have?
Did you load a driver?
Have you asked the Latency Time down?
Have you checked the com port?
Will read your ECU via CAN bus? depends on your vehicle!

With this interface, you can directly make a connection for CAN bus

But you should give the seller that you would like the ELM operate with MES.

Hi,

I was successfully using bluetooth ELM327 v1.5 with Torque but suddenly today it reports that can't connect to ECU.
I´ve tried with different vehicles, reinstalled Torque, used another android phone but it always report the same message.

ELM device is almost new (used only couple times) ordered from China. Is there any way how to fix ELM device?

Software with the Torque?
In order to know well here in just a few!

But if you could just make a connection,
and other Android phones have tried, it should be because of the interface.

Although these ELMs rarely go broke.

I used to connect this device on Mazda 6 2.0d and it perfectly works. I`ve tried also with other vehicles and it worked. Today, suddenly it stopped with message in Torque software that ELM can´t connect to ECU. Bluetooth is working but only this message appeared and cannot use Torque any more. Do you have any idea what happened?

I want to ask, wich bluetooth/wifi iterface is the best, or wich is the easyest to modified, to use with the red-yellow-green iterface?
So i want use to dashboard,body, service airbag reading-(writing), not just the engine etc...

I allready have a normal, but its really old, and i want forget any cable in 2013.

I have an ELM 1.4 usb cable, it works fine with non CAN modules, but i cant connect to the CAN modules even with the adapters, can you tell me what modifications i need to do in the circuit board? which resistor to take off

This ELM interface we had had several times already.
You can see it would have been in previous posts

Remove the red marked resistor and then your ELM
also usable with Multiecuscan CAN Bus
