I have a interface with elm v1.2 (home made) and works fine on Can line with another software ( on cars where is possible to communicate via CAN lines)
The reason for not working is the version of the elmchip? or because the software has no commands for Elm v1.2 for CAN communication ?

The more I use the more I like this FES SW! Congratulations! I'm waiting for the registered version.

What would be your recommended ELM327 version and maker? Would a clone like ELM327 v1.5 be compatible? Or olny genuine ELM 327 chips?
