Hello,

As I said earlier, I bought a new 327 elm v 1.5 but I can not understand that I do change. Attached photos of the circuit .... Thanks in advance!

Hello

You have to remove the red circled resistor R04.
Then your ELM also works in the CAN protocol (ISO 15765)

Do I have to destroy any Resistor?

Thank you in advance

I have this ELM too, and i can connect to Stilo 1.9 JTD (2002) and set service, but i can't connect it to Mito 1.6 JTDm with adaptor cable, FES doen´t detect anything.

Thanks!

Hi guys

I think I have the problem described here, unfortunately I am not very good at electronics but a resistor or two to unsolder would be no problem :) I recently bought this:

If anyone should have a clue I would be greatly greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I removed the R04 resistor and it now works like a charm :)

Can you connect into the CAN controlers?
As I see in your pics your tool it is 1.5
The chinese made this version 1.5 which can be version 1.3, 1.4 or in the bad case 1.2
Version 1.2 it is not support by the FES
So in this case you have to go in other CAN car and try to connect using a softwear for ELM327
And if you can connect in a car based on CAn, VW Golf 5, Skoda Octavia II, Ople Insignia, Opel Vectra C/Signium or Astra H etc in this case you have bad luck the tool is version 1.2
Good luck

Actually the Golf Mk 5 isn't a great one to test on. Tools using VAG's protocols (VCDS etc) connect on CAN via the car's CAN gateway.
Anything connecting on the EOBD protocols would pick up the engine controller on KWP2000 though, not CAN.
