If your v2.6.1 license is legitimate, just download v3.3 and install it over the top.
The activation will be carried through to the new version - it's a free update.
Thanks! I did this and it worked! now I can use 3.3

I however did the proxi allignment and it tells me failure to allign Dashboard node: Timeout :!: :?:

Hi, I have a big problem, so I removed the r14 distracted from my elm 327 v 1.4a and it lost it. Can I put a resistor in place? What resistance in ohms and watts can make?
My elm 327 reads only the engine control unit. I can use to make that change complete? Thank you!

Hello

You remove this resistor R14 would have not allowed that has nothing to do with
the CAN bus error to do.

What kind of vehicle you want to read?
What controls can you not read?

Vemutlich you have a setting mistake
Please do it again a picture of the connector strip to the chip
MCP 2551 when the connections are 6 + 7 is not connected through a resistor to the pins you have a functioning ELM interface

Greetings Eddy

My vehicle is a 150 bhp Alfa Romeo 159 1.9 LtdM

my problem is that it works only with the engine control unit. I accidentally removed the R14.

I did not realize I have to remove the R04?

What do you mean by MCP 2551 When The connections are 6 + 7 is not connected through a resistor to the pins you have a Functioning ELM interface. You can attach screenshots of change?

Hello

When only the 159 ECU and ABS with the KWP protocol is read.
Everything else will be read by CAN.

One can not recognize in your image as the board of the header
and are transferred to the chip labeled MCP2551.
Only there is if anything, this resistor R04/R14 installed.

And the R04 is not there, your problem lies in something else.

Can your ELM Protocol ad the ISO 15765 process at all?

I know last year read an ELM that this protocol could not.

But please make a screen of FES / settings / interfaces / test
and put the result here.

Greetings Eddy

you'll have to get the resistor R14 back..

then remove R04 (hightlighted in Yellow at the bottom) like the pic attached, also solder pins 1, 3 and 9 directly to pin 7. it is the same one as I have and once I did that, it reads EVERYTHING besides the Airbags as it needs KLine or VAG-COM.

what is the value of R14? I lost it.
So I have to replace the R14 (Ohm? And Watt?) And remove the R4. Then I have to connect pins that I said?

Hello

The lack of resistance should still have the same value as the next. Because they are only required for the LEDs.
Presumably, this is not needed. And is necessary only for the LED.

For your 159, only the pin 1 is required for the ABS.
Bridge pin 1 to pin 7
And from pin 12 to pin 7 of the xenon lamps.

The 159 has no electrical. Steering (Pin 9)
The pin 3 is not needed, because the airbag control unit is on
the pin 3 is always a need for a KKL interface.

At the airbag 159 via CAN bus is read.

So I repeat operation:
a) remove R4
b) I put R14
c) connect pin 1 to pin 7 as shown in figure?

??

thanks

Hello

This is correct

For your Alfa 159 you only need to pin 1 and pin 7 for ABS
and ECU.
All other controls are read out via CAN and this
nothing needs to be soldered.
