1) What module in which position are you trying?
2) The dip switch is properly installed?

Yes the dip switch is correctly installed... It simulates an adapter3 to connect with the can info, body computer, etc.Waltomatic wrote:1) What module in which position are you trying?

I don't understand what you mean for "correct circuit change"... Anyway, on my elm327 the resistor between can lines is already removed, directly from the seller, as you can see in my pictureWaltomatic wrote:OK, you read correctly your Alfa because the CAN line of your Alfa communicates the original interface, WITHOUT adaptation. So your dip switch has no effect with it. But the Fiat 500 does require adaptation (ELM C19). So if your dip switch is installed correctly even, I think you need to review the topic told by yani for correct circuit change.
Dear Racing, what I meant was exactly right (remove the resistor if necessary) since you did not pass this information before. I just did not look at his picture because I had not known this component visually ...Racing Man wrote:I don't understand what you mean for "correct circuit change"... Ok, I was thinking that there was another change to do in the circuit after the resistor removal, if that wasn't working... So, how can I fix my problem?Waltomatic wrote:Dear Racing, what I meant was exactly right (remove the resistor if necessary) since you did not pass this information before. No, the connections are correct, I've checked many times... I could even show a picture, but it's a little messy inside, and in my interface the cables are all in the same color...Waltomatic wrote:Frankly I believe that adaptation may be wrong, see that to simulate Adapter Cable 3 you need 3 switches (6-1, 14-9, 7-12). If you show a picture of your connection we can check.
