I try to connect engine. The 3pin for the engine i think it is on the right (passenger) side near the shock absorber.

When i press SCAN:
Scanning ...

ELM 327 Bluetooth interface found at port COM6, speed 38400bps
This interface is compatible with ELM 327 1.4! Should connect properly with all CAN modules.

COMPLETED

When i press CONNECT:
CONNECTION FAILED You need K-Line/VagCom/OBDKey interface to connect to this module! Check your cable and serial port settings!

Hy it is not your tool fault.
Take a look here
http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx
You'll see that if you have a car with 3 pin adaptor you'll need always VAg kkl for that controlers.
And if I understand well you car enginese it is not covered yet.
BTW your ELM327 it is unusefull for your car because no CAN in it.
Good luck

Hello

So was your fault, no fault :-)

I thought that with the adapter cable would be often enough described.

Both KKL interface will only work you need for the black KKL these adapter cables
And for the blue one with the slide switch, the cables are not needed.

I was struggling to connect to car airbag.

After reading this post I bought one of these kits off ebay and it worked first time:
"ALFA FIAT DIAGNOSTIC LEAD CABLE multiecuscan + ELM 327 v1.4 + KKL VAG COM ODB2"

I was surprised as I could connect to every ecu using different combinations within the kit.

Ebay user, "buy_me_from_dan", seems to know what he/she is talking about, and has many different combinations listed.

Thanks for all the help and advise posted on this listing.
