Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
Hello Eric
Your BT interface described here does not have this resistor (R04, R14)
It should kidney function, I suppose you've got a hiring mistake
Check your settings again then it should work.
Greetings Eddy

Thanks for very fast reply!!
My bluetooth OBD works with my bravo 08'' with ,,Torque'' android, but with FES i have another unsuccessful try.....The pc never ask for drivers, but i instal CDM drivers, I set the correct com port (in my case COM6) and when i go to settings-interfaces-TEST it say ''Access to the port 'COM6' is denied''. And for the resistors i have R14, but i don't have R04, maybe R4 is the same as R04?? I am such an amateur with this tools, sorry if my questions are so noobish...and THANKS again.

Hello dapo
Which interface do you have?
Is there a Bluetooth version?
Show times a link to which interface it is.
Greetings Eddy

Hello eric
It depends on where the resistor R04 is installed.
This resistor must be removed only if this on the MCP2551
Contacts 7 + 8 connects
Otherwise nothing is changed.
I can here not, of course, when you determine which setting is not right

Hello
Sorry for my bad English
After your board from the interface, I can not detect and remove the one you have to resolder or resistance
It must work even without conversion.
Go through these steps
- Your Bluetooth interface is detected?
- Which Com port?
- Set this com port in FES / settings / interfaces.
- Set the correct interface
- In the Control Panel for this com port the latency set to 1
- Press in the FES / Settings / Interface / the test!
- Adjust this test result here.
Greetings Eddy

Helllo,
Everything is set as you say, just can't find option in com port settings for latency to set to 1.
Thanks

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
Mates just for VAG KKL you need to set latency to 1
For ELM327 you don't need to do this
It has to remain default ( latency 16 )
Good luck

This interface is compatible with ELM 327 1.4! Should connect properly with all CAN modules.
When i go to FES in settings-interfaces-scan for interfaces it say:
Scanning ...
ELM 327 Bluetooth interface found at port COM6, speed 38400bps
This interface is compatible with ELM 327 1.4! Should connect properly with all CAN modules.
COMPLETED
I try to connect with Fiat Bravo 97'' 2.0 20V, but it shows with red colour text and say: CONNECTION FAILED You need K-Line/VagCom/OBDKey Interface to conncect to this module! Check your cable and serial port settings! My port is set on 38400 Bits(also try with 9600 but the same). I dont know what is wrong now. Thanks
