What is 21k resistor you have exchanged for a 4.7k resitor ???

Do you also have the CAN bus links to your Punto can make `01?

Hi Eddy for your answer.

I have the old grey metal box elm 327 that work good with old punto from 2001 (NO CAN) but DOES NOT CONNECT to CAN in the grande punto MY 2011.
So the problem is connection to CAN.

I checked the schematic on page 1 and the resistor are ok (100 ohm) I did not check the capacitor.

Reading the posts I understood that sometimes you have to replave the resistor R5 form 21k ohm to 4.7k ohm. I tried but still no connection to CAN.

I can not see what you have so far changed everything?
But as you already might Connect to your Punto `01 no CAN bus

I suspect that you have used the wrong driver.

Halo meine freund,

I can not explain better than I did.I will try to explain again.

I have the ELM 327 (the old metal grey box) and I can not connect to the CAN of the car fiat grande punto.

I made one modding to make the device working at 34800 baud.

Do you know if it is possible to update this elm model or not?

I have an ELM327 MINI v1.5

Is there a way to get it to work with my 2003 ford escape? I can provide better pictures if you are unfamiliar with this device. I have searched this forum for pictures of a board that looks like the one in this device.

With this software you can not read your Ford.

For this reason, you can probably no help here

Hi, my name is Cristian, and i have a Punto EVO 1.3 mjt 2009.

i've bought this ELM 327 and i can't reset the service, i have an adaptor n.3 and a FES registered. I read at page 156 a similar ELM, but it isn't identical.

I've to remove the resistor marked in red?
