Hallo Alfa156Sarajevo

Hello Eddy,
I bought this elm327 interface (v1.5) and connect it to the engine control unit, but does not connect to other control can as the body computer. My car is Alfa MiTo 1.4 16v and I also bought the adapter type A3 for multiecuscan. To connect to the CAN line in addition to connecting the A3 I have to remove the resistance? Where is it? I tried to look for it but can not find it, I am attaching pictures hoping you can give me a hand.
Thanks in advance, Eddy.

Hi Eddy

nice name :D

Finally an interface which I do not know yet
You made good pictures, only to no is the bridge resistor
visible.

Search the chip imprinted with MCP2551 or TJA1040 and even take a picture of the chip and the environment around this chip

Greetings Eddy

Hello Eddy,
also your good name :D
this is the photo of the chip TJA1040
and around there is another chip and there is only this resistor (?) C3. I have to remove it (C3)?

Best Regards Eddy

Hi Eddy
I'm confused :)

C3? no,
C is the name for a capacitor

The resistor will be only to see if you can solder the upper board
and send me a picture can.

By coincidence I've just in another forum probably the same board with the search for the bridge resistor

This user has unfortunately I still do not make better pictures

Greetings Eddy
