What problem you have while reading your 147?
In addition, this resistor (red marked) be removed if you can not produce a CAN connection
This interface has been repeatedly described here

Thanks Eddy. I couldn't connect to any can network on the 147. All is good now! I went through about 50 Pages trying to find the same circuit board as mine but no luck. Thanks again.

Hello Chefadrian
I'm sorry, it is difficult to images to track the conductor paths along to find in any part of a resistor.
Since I had to have the interface before eyes

soerstefan wrote:Hello,
I have an ELM327 adapter with USB cable taken 2 weeks ago from
www.amazon.de as shown layouts in 5 pictures provided as attachments.
As owner of: "Fiat Croma 2.4JTD with DPF, year:2005" wanted to use/test free edition of EcuScan but unfortunately is not working saying that:
"CONNECTION FAILED, ELM327 -> ECU Connection Failed ! Check your cable and serial port settings"
I searched this forum posts for this topic and I believe that from your experience I will get solution.
I have been installed software for Virtual COM port (VCP) drivers on Windows XP with following settings:
Bits per second: 38.400 with latency = 1, also set 38.400 bauds with latency 16, the results is same.
When I use "TEST" button with reply for all commands=OK ELM327 v1.5 and at the end the output log says:
"This interface is compatible with ELM 327 1.4! Should connect properly with all CAN modules"
When I use "SCAN" button I found error such that:
Errors found: U1602 - CAN Data Bus
As a feedback, what I realized from previous posts, my PCB circuit layout label is quite different with label: "OBD-USB vers1.0" but not as yours: "ELM327-USB". Is this a problem or is a standard problem solution with circuit resistors, capacity etc ? Or any other correct settings on EcuScan or USB-Serial driver ? What should I modify correct on PCB layout or SW settings ?
I will be very appreciate for any help from you to get a solution.
Regards.
Hello
I have the same soerstefan's interface

Hello Pabliomac
Which vehicle would you like to read?
Also a Fiat Croma 2.4 jtd?
And as I wrote in the article, this interface has no bridge resistor of Multiecuscan causes problems
Greetings Eddy

Hello
And what is the Typ ???
152 or 263 ????
But your ECU and ABS, you should definitely read can
for all other controls you need the adapter A3 (yellow)
Greetings Eddy

So, to reset the service, oil change etc... do I need the adapter A3?
congratulations for your time and expertise

Hello Pablitomac
Yes the service indicator to provide back you have to use the A3 adapter!
Engine ECU and ABS control only needs to be read without an adapter.
Greetings Eddy
