Hello Arian

Oh! So you've bought from a shady dealer this interface?!

These traders defy any default and give you no guarantee if your airbag control unit is destroyed

Yes to get to the Headlamp solder a jumper from pin 12 to pin 7

But removing the bridge to pin 3, believe me it is safer

Greetings Eddy

So if I remove jumper 3... what is what....

1 to 7 is ABS
12 to 7 is headlights

What is for the airbags?
What is for the ICS
what is for the Motormanagement?

If i read all this i believe i schould use only direct lines from one to another and dont connect mutiple pins to each other right?
one day i will understand how it works....

Hello Arian

All very simple, actually

The various controls are located on different pins
and the standard interface are always designed on the pin 7 for the engine control.
As this pin is binding on the vehicle manufacturer.
All other controls may distribute the manufacturer to the free pins.

In the case of Fiat / Alfa / Lancia ABS is usually to pin 1
the airbag to pin 3

Motor control as we know on Pin 7 (which we know now)

And the Headlamp on pin 12

Which is pin the Navigator / ICS set I do not know but can
now only be on pin 9, if you can not connect it.

If you have a jumper from pin 9 to pin 7 do you have made all the connections of adapter A1.

Pin 3 should go separately to the pin 7. Top disconnect with a switch.

Thnx Eddy, I'll just buy another interface for the airbag unit. Than i keep this seperate and there is no risk of exploding aitbags....
On the interfeace I have allready I remove the pin 3 bridge (wich is not wanted to be in serial with other pins).
Than I can connect all others 1,9 and 12 to pin 7 and it's done...

Thnx for the patience and advice!

You do not need to buy new interface. Just remove pin 3 from that wire and that is all.
I had one VAG cable for connecting all necessary pins (1,3,7,9) and it worked every time.
Did not had any problems, but after 9-10 months it died by itself.
And right now I have separate VAG cables with separate adapters and it works much longer than old one...
