Gendan elm interface getting nowhere!!!!

Yet when i click connect i always get the same message you need kline/vag com/obdkey to connect to this module check cable and serial port settings.....they are good cos ive just tested havent i?

What module are you connecting to when that message comes up?

For the Doblo 223, the supported vehicles list shows that the Airbags aren't supported by the ELM, so you'd need a VAG KKL cable to access those.
The other supported systems should all work on the ELM though.

Is the vehicle definitely a type 223? Have you checked the VIN?

definately 223 its on the vin have tried the red adaaptor for airbag and no adaptor for engine but still no success is the vag the blue unit straight tu usb?

VAG KKL interfaces use an internal USB to Serial convertor, in the same way that the ELM327 interfaces do, so it will appear as a COM port.
