FIAT Interface F-super

Post by Biturbista »

Hi, I have been experimenting with the interfaces and cables that I have laying around.

Using the VAG KKL cable and FES I can connect with the main ECU of my Alfa 166 2.4JTD 10V (MY'03) at 9600baud.

However I also have the 'FIAT Interface F-super' (black box with blue label and only 3 LEDs) of which I was told by the seller that it is an ELM327 compatible cable. If I tell FES I am using a ELM327 interface I cannot connect to the car. Does anybody know if this interface is ELM327 compatible or if it is not compatible at all. If it is not compatible, what is this interface compatible with then and can I still use it with FES or another ECU tool for italian cars?

After having opened the FIAT Interface F-super I found that it uses pins 1, 3, 4 & 5 (shorted), 6, 7, 10, 14 and 16 of the ODB plug.

Thans in advance for any help on this topic!
