It's a good idea because if your's ecu is broken and you want to buy used one you have to pay for a reseting or reseting immo, also it's a good idea if you have problem with immo antenna.

If you have a problem with your immo antenna, you should replace the antenna!

Everybody can download this program. If this program was only for Alfa/Fiat/Lancia dealerships I would agree that the function is useful.

BUT making my car EASY to STEAL because you dont want to pay for a reset or antenna

Fully agree with Jerry, IMMOs are there to prevent our alfas got stealen.
There should not be any freeware available to break that system.

considering the time and work required to bypass the factory immo, it would be far easier to simply carjack..

and especially the code 2 system it's considered impossible to bypass given the time it takes to steal a car, i doubt a thief will want to reprogram the ecu while steealing the car or carrying a virgin ecu with him..

as for the feature, definitly no.. not required on a diagnostic program, anyone that want's the feature should simply buy immo killer anyway..

mileage would be usefull though, like when changing the dash from a low spec to a higher spec model..
