FES No Connection

Post by spox »

Hello there, i have a ALFA ROMEO 156 2.0 jts 2004, with a Bosch Motronic MED 7.11 EOBD injector. I have the FES and a sutable cable, and problem is that it no longer wants to connect. I have made quite a few connections with my alfa (about 10-15) but now it does not connect to the ECU. What could be the cause of that.
I have tryed with two different laptops with two different OS (xp and 7) , changed all the usb`s, but still says "Connection to ecu failed, check cable or usb port(or something like that, i dont quite remember)".
Only thing i did was i unplugged the connector without pressing the disconnect button( but i am not quite sure)

Unfortunately, the log doesn't give me any more information. The ECU returns no data at all.
Did you try with other interface? There are a few reported cases of damaged VagCom interfaces.

Could you be more specific with "other interfaces". To make an extra note, I have been more than careful with storing my cable(no throwing, droping, stepping, kicking and so on).
