Alfa 156 2.4 jtd 20v MY04 probs

Post by csac8600 »

Hi, first of all my warmest congratulations for this excellent piece of work! But i´ve got probs... i get connected to the ecu but the programm prompts, that the iso number is not correct and it is not possible to mark any parameter for realtime scan. fault codes are displayed and can be erased. In unidiag the identification says, that i´ve got an edc 16c9 (not 16c8!). It´s an 156 SW 2.4 jtd 20v from Juni 2004 with 175 bhp.

thx a lot and a happy new year

Hello,

What type of cable are you using to get the software to work with the ecu? I'm trying with a vag com kkl usb cable, but cannot connect to the ecu... and I have the same car as you.

Hi, now with version 1.6 the iso-code-error no longer appears but i´m still not able to select any of the parameters. When i click the checkbox - nothing happens!

Please help me!

Hi,

What do you mean by nothing happens? Does the checkbox change its state checked/unchecked? Does the colour of text turn to red?
Does the program show "serial port latency" message on bottom?
Does the program show correct ECU identification data?
You can post some screenshots.

somebody didn't read the "How TO"

you should press SPACE where you want to select the parameter - use arrow keys to slelect between the parameters :D
