I come to you because I just bought an ELM327 v1.5a interface in metal box. When I connect on FES, I can only access the ECU's only injection.
So, I dismounted to see if it really is a 1.5a version and the electronic card is good but in this version marqs FES during the test I say it's a version 1.4.
So my question to access the other ecu, do I unsolder the resistor R4 and solder two resistors and two capacitors.
That's a Fiat Punto 1.9 JTD 2000

I have the same ELM 1.5 in a metal box and have the same problem completely. The trouble is that I still know nothing about besides what and where to solder.

Yes go this technique.
Even with these metal box with ELM R04 connects this pin to 6 + 7
the MCP2551
And this resistance inhibits the CAN data bus.
Remove R04 and then this interface is also

Hello. I opened my ELM327 and was horrified because it was written on the board v 1.2. and location of the resistors is quite another. Not like you in the picture. Help me find this ELM327 v 1.3. Help me to find the good seller to buy ELM327 v1.3 (as in the picture)
