Multiecuscan 3.1 RELEASED!!!

Post by yani »

Hi,

I just released Multiecuscan 3.1.1 to fix minor license problem with version 3.1

I released Multiecuscan 3.1 today.
The main improvement is that now it can write the Odometer data and service info to dashboard modules.

This is the list of changes:
- Support for Valeo XENON headlights (Alfa 166)
- Added Odometer writing support on all Instrument Cluster modules It is in "Service Interval Reset" and "XXX Instrument Panel" modules. Please note that this is a legal procedure for updating new Instrument Clusters with the real mileage of the car. So, it will only accept higher values than your current odometer reading.
- Added possibility to manually enter service info (Date of last service, days till next service, distance till next service, etc.)
- Fixed Serbian language files
- Added "Injection Correction" parameters to EDC15. I'm pretty sure that this data is NOT available on most of the EDC15 ECUs and the parameters will show no data.

Nice.

what does exactly "it can write the Odometer data" mean?
That you can change the km value on the dashboard? Like...when you buy a new one and you want to align it with all the other modules?

I thought it is done by proxi alignment.

I give you a little suggestion for next version.
The form where you input the date of last service, you could use probable numbers; for example:
On DD, you could insert only numbers 0; 1; 2; 3 for the first number then 0 --> 9 for the second.
On MM, the first value can only be 0 or 1, and the second from 0 to 9.
On YYYY, 1 or 2 (probably only the number 2) on the first number....

...and so on. :)

At least it is useful to avoid input mistakes.

what do you think? :)

I hv downloaded latest ver 3.1 but displayed error of a file during installation.

Btw, does multiecuscan be able to clear the "Immobilzer" alarm ? My ride is a Stilo MS 2.4L 20V.
