AR 159 2.4 20V JTD

Post by Jerry 159 »

Hello,

Excellent work that you are doing on this software! Please keep up the good work!

Can you tell me when the AR 159 2.4 20V JTD 200PK wil be supported in the software?

And also can you add these functions:
- Forced manual regeneration of the DPF (diesel particle filter)
- Service message reset
- Oil change message reset
- Oil degradation message reset

Yani !!!!
I have just tested the latest 1.5 version on my 159 and its working perfectly !!
I can read all data and also the "forced" actuators are working

You are making a lot of people like me very happy with this Examinar like software ;)

Can you tell me these functions below will be availble in future versions ?? :
- Forced manual regeneration of the DPF (diesel particle filter)
- Service message reset

Thank you

Hi,

Yes, I will add those functions.
Serice Reset, however, will require another type of cable interface because it is done on the CAN network. I'm currently testing with ELM327 which is cheap and widely available.

With you ELM327 support will that be for CAN Service only resets or will you also exploit the existing KKL line functions through the ELM327 chip? Doing this would make sense as then only one cable is required for all functions.

My intention is to implement all functions through the ELM interface... So, yes, ELM will have access to all functions

Hello,
I looked on ebay and there are many of different ELM 327 cables for sale. Do they work all with multiecuscan? Otherwise which is more particularly recommended.

So far Yani's software doesn't support elm327.
