a newbie needs help ...

Post by onkeljoerg »

Hi,
when I want to connect my Alfa 156 2,0 TS 16V Selespeed build in 2001 with usb vag kkl cable to FES 2.6.1 these parameters are shown:
scanning....
engine
Bosch Motronic Me 7.3.1 EOBD injection
ISO Code 7C 86 10 80 67

gearbox
Marelli Selespeed CFC208F Automatic Gearbox
ISO Code BC 07 02 80 1A
Done!

When I want to connect to the engine, the program seems to work (I choose Alfa 156 2,0 TS 16V). When I want to connect to the selespeed gearbox (choose Alfa 156 selespeed) I get the message "invalid ISO code". Pressing than "Y" the program seems to work. When I choose "Alfa 156 `02 selespeed" there is no problem, but I thing it is not the right one, because it is for model year 2002. What do I have to do or to choose in FES to get right in contact with the selespeed gearbox??

Thanks for helping
Best regards, Jörg

Just use the "Selespeed CFC208F" gearbox from "Alfa 156 `02 selespeed". It is the right one.

...thank you very much for helping :D
If "Alfa 156 `02..." is the right one for the gearbox , should I use it too when I want to connect to the engine?
Or is "Alfa 156 2,0 TS..." the right one for the engine?
Both programs are running ....
Thanks again.

The engine ECU is the same. So, you can use whichever you want.
Generally, if Multiecuscan does not give you "Invalid ISO Code" message then you have selected the correct ECU.
