could someone please post a link to a web in order to buy a kkl/vag cable which is known to work?

Just go to "ebay.com" and in the search box type "vag com" and you are going to find hundreds of the same cable in different colors (black, white, blue)! They are all the same! Just buy which one you like! They should be around 10USD!
Please keep in mind that you need a VAG COM KKL 409.1 USB cable not a "HEX" or "CAN" or something else...

made for multiecuscan, all made ready to go.

Depends on your outlook, you could buy a cable off eb**, spend 3 hours modifying, spend 3 hours trying to
connect, still not working, get angry, etc etc , i'd rather pay the extra couple of pound and know cables are right
no issues, up to you really, my thoughts are is a good kit.
