Dear all,
does someone has the list of status codes returned by fiat selespeed adjustment routines? specificaly, "Final calibration"?
This one returns "0F" status code, but I don't know what it means.
I found some codes here on forum, but this one is not listed..
If someone is interested, here are the codes I found:
00 - Correct
FF - No reply from ECU
7F - Switch error 2nd gear
0b - Error caused by cosed clutch
01 - Select error 1st and 2nd gear
02 - Select error 5th and reverse gear
04 - Switch error 1st gear
06 - Switch error 3rd gear
X - Linkage error
0c - Error common conditions(?)
0d - Error adjustment clutch pin
03 - Select error 3rd and 4th gear
0e - Error clutch solenoid
07 - Select error 4th gear
0a - Error select position
09 - Switch error reverse gear
08 - Switch error 5th gear

Re: Selespeed status codes
Hello,
I just did the calibration and have also the 0F code. Also don't know what it means.
(156 SW GTA 2003)
kind Regards,
Nick

Re: Selespeed status codes
I don't really have any official documentation about those result codes. However, it seems to me that the codes are the same as the values returned by parameter "Gearbox/clutch self-calibration".
The meaning of the parameter values is a little different for each version of Selespeed.
On the old CFC208F value of 0x00 means "Correct" and value of 0x0f means "Loose pin error".
On the GTA version CFC218 value of 0x00 means "Not performed" and value of 0x0f means "Correct".
On the newer CFC208f (which is in 147, GT, Idea, Ypsilon) value of 0x00 means "Not performed" and value of 0x0f means "Loose pin error" and value >0x0f means "Correct".
Once again, I'm not exactly sure that these values (which are for one of the parameters) are the same for EOL function. It is just a guess, but it makes sense.
So, for @Timmerklits the result should actually mean "Correct".

Re: Selespeed status codes
Hello Yani,
Thanks for the info, so everything is good.
The clutch self calibration I don't understand how to do that one.
You must start in 2nd gear with accelerator fully pressed, the car will not start in that way.
And also if I follow the steps you must do, the routine is allready done before I did everything.
Can you tell me what the right way is to do this?
kind regards,
Nick
and very much thanks for the great software

Re: Selespeed status codes
I've the same Problem.
After starting the self calibration the window opens and says trhat everything is well done and you have to quit with Y. Engine starts in second gear only touching the brake pedal. When engine is running and brake pedal is pressed the rpm reach in second gear max. 2.500rpm.
Result is, that the clutch plate reference value and clutch plate travel value with (1,2) and without (N) a gear are different:
with gear 14mm, without gear 11mm-12mm both are similar.
Who knows the right approach and can help me?
