Fiat Croma

A bid overenthusiastic I bought a VagCom KKL cable, after installing the software I learned that my Fiat is not supported.
It is a 2006 Croma 1.9 JTD 8V will it be supported in the future?
Is the cable useless for my car?

The ECU is EDC16/CF4. It will be supported in the next release.

The Fiat Croma is in the list of supported cars.
The software is on my laptop I will try to connect it to the car tomorrow.
