Fiat 500 trouble with refurbished airbag control unit

Post by LisaLiMa »

Hello everyone,

I have a 2010 Fiat 500. A month ago, the odometer suddenly started flashing, the fuel cut-off was activated, and a message appeared stating that both the driver and passenger airbags were inactive. The seatbelt warning lights also came on.

As a result, a refurbished airbag control unit (51782985) was installed by a workshop. However, it was not possible to pair the replaced control unit with the Fiat. Now, all warning lights have disappeared except for the message "Airbag failure, please check the manual" and the flashing odometer.

When reading the error codes, B0111, B0112, and B0117 were detected.

Do you have any idea what the problem might be? No one has been able to pair the control unit with the car, and I'm running out of ideas. :o

Thanks a lot for your help!
