Phase 1 Spider Airbag connection

Having trouble connecting to TRW airbag.
MES times out and so I have read on here its all about the L-line has to be disconnected on the three pin plug.
These articles were written some time ago , so is there a workaround this with a three way switch KKL adapter.
At first I thought it was to do with Latency but I dont think this the case as the other ecu's are fine as long as latency is set to 1.
Tried Airbag on high and low settings but doesn't help.
So help needed please.
