Have I got a faulty copy of the MES software?
I want to program another key for my 500L trekking 2014 but seem to have a problem with that section of MES. Before trying for real I went through the program simulation with everything going as I expected, went through the steps as per the instructions, start to finish everything OK, so decided to program new key for real.
Program starts as it should until it comes to the page that should ask for the car security code, but that page does not display , instead a box comes up with the comment
FAILED TO EXECUTE followed by SECURITY ACCESS FAILED. No page to enter the security code and a few seconds later goes back to the start.
Any thoughts on what the problem might be?
