Hi
I’m currently trying to locate the elusive Security Gateway module
So I can use the Gendan Bypass cable, i now have,
Was let to believe it’s behind passenger glove box but have all that and the drivers lower dashboard removed
Any ideas would be helpful
Thank you
Neil
2020 Ducato “SGW” location??
Re: 2020 Ducato “SGW” location??
it should be on right side of glove box. need to remove plastic around glow box to have access to it.
Re: 2020 Ducato “SGW” location??
Have removed all the glovebox but nothing,

Re: 2020 Ducato “SGW” location??
don't have any pictures. try searching online.
does your Ducato really have one? could be older production year with 2020 registration.
have you tried to delete errors in any ECU? just unplug something like MAF or any other sensor to trigger error in ECU, plug it back and see if you can delete error. if you can then no SGW.

Re: 2020 Ducato “SGW” location??
Using Multiecuscan v5.1 and can clear codes, force a Regen, change oil service (for dpf) etc
We just can’t replace dpf, and adblue injector (that was also replaced with the DPF
(Can’t do it with snap on or Autel diagnostics either, same failed attempts)
So can only assume it’s access is blocked by fiat,
Or my elm327 cables that have done me ok for years ain’t up to it,
For info
When trying
Engine running but parked up
Rpm over 850 (idles 790)
Temp over 70 degrees
The only other thing I possibly can think is the “forced regeneration state” which always on all vans shows “generic error” on MES
The replacement does state if “error” stop wait 15 secs then try again
If it’s not that then I’m guessing a trip to Fiat dealers to pay them, but would prefer to try and find out what and why it’s failing
Cheers

if you really can delete errors then you don't have SGW. most likely problem is somewhere else. might be any errors in engine ECU which prevent reseting DPFRoloPolo wrote: ↑20 May 2023, 15:47 Using Multiecuscan v5.1 and can clear codes, force a Regen, change oil service (for dpf) etc
