How to interpret logfile for proxy alignment?

Post by HeMaN »

Like the topic says, how do I interpret the MES logfile of a proxy alignment?
I think that the actual "backup" config is the third line of CAN configuration data, but what are the first two lines of the CAN configuration data?

Background for this question:
With MES I activated first paddle shifters and later on ACC+ and saved the logfiles of the proxy aliggnment actions as a backup of the proxy in case I messed up something later on.

I was looking at AlfaOBD after I made those changes to disable the Panic function, and had a look around at the options in that programm in general.
I played around with AlfaOBD but did not like the interface and was not sure enough about all the options, since the options and parameters did not seem to correspond with the actual state in my Giulia, so did not make any changes intentionaly and left the programm.

Just to be sure I did not change something by accident, I took the previous MES logfile, started MES and tried to compare the existing proxy config (alt-ctrl-c) with the one in the logfile.
I think that the actual "backup" config is the third line of data, but what are the first two lines of the CAN configuration data?

Example of a log file I use to compare with the current config in MES

Code: Select all

Reading CAN configuration data ...

yes, 3rd line is your actual proxi config.
first 2 lines are EOL info and something else I've not figured out yet.
