Hi, my Fiat 500 1.2 has started to hunt on idle after I removed the throttle body to clean it. I have checked for vacuum leaks but can't see anything split. I have read that possible a throttle body reset might fix the fault, will Multiecuscan do this reset?
Regards Lee.
Throttle body reset.
Re: Throttle body reset.
Yes - if that is your actual problem. From the MES program:
Throttle Position Learning
This procedure allows the control unit to learn the throttle's correct position and should be run when the throttle body and/or control unit is replaced or whenever this adjustment is necessary.
After executing this procedure got to Parameters section and check the status of parameter 'Throttle learn status'. It should report 'Learnt' when the procedure has completed successfully.
