Ducato 8 (model 2022)
Ducato 8 (model 2022)
Hi
Anybody out there who already tried Multiecusan with the brand new ducato 8 (model 2022)?
I tried it but didn't work (with the adapter and interface which should work fine with older Ducatos)
No response from the ODB port of the Ducato. Same problem with other ODB reader hard- and software. No response.
Also my RV dealer mentioned that it is not possible for him to read the Ducato 8 ODB, too. Only FIAT can do this for now.
Any idea why?
Thanks and BR
Andreas

Thank you.
Due to a different Body Computer in the newest Duc8 (new Marelli/Delphi instead of Marelli 11, with different CAN adress) it (at least for me looks like it) will not possible to read the proxy with multiecuscan for now(?).
But i can read it with AlfaOBD (ELM327 without any Adapter, for most other control modules the grey adapter is needed, not the yellow!). It shows values which seemed to be very different compared to the older models:
38 32 32 39 35 30 30 30 36 36 39 4F 55 54 50 55 54 2D 53 49 54 20 21 10 15 4F 0C 40 C5 10 02 04 00 00 00 00 00 80 00 01 00 4F 0C 40 45 10 00 04 00 00 00 00 00 80 00 00 00 51 D1 29 02 68 40 08 DD 14 33 23 06 4A 43 01 01 53 60 00 02 81 05 10 00 30 43 02 04 19 8C 08 00 ED 03 07 98 86 03 11 E9 00 00 18 24 00 01 00 71 EB 9D 06 ED 00 53 08 04 84 18 00 40 80 07 00 B7 00 F5 02 15 2A 00 00 00 04 14 F8 7A 01 B5 00 01 00 00 00 00 05 14 40 11 00 26 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 01 C0 01 00 40 20 0C 80 20 01 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 04 00 00 03 00 00 08 10 00 1E 00 00 00 00 00 00 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
I'm now looking for someone who can link the Bytes to it's functional meaning....

If you want t know what each byte does i wish you good luck..
many people are asking the same thing, i think only the developers of mes know the meaning of each number.

Re: Ducato 8 (model 2022)
OK; thanks; I will use ALFAOBD to start the GT when I need to move it.
Re: Ducato 8 (model 2022)
For now it would be enough for me to understand which byte is responsible for the fuel tank size. So if someone can do a proxy dump with a 75 or 90 litre fuel tank duc8 and post it that would help (mine was 60 litres).abarthmultijet wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 12:34 If you want t know what each byte does i wish you good luck..

Re: Ducato 8 (model 2022)
try byte 67 - 75 liters should be "42", 90 liters - "51"
Re: Ducato 8 (model 2022)
Thank you shpuncik!
I will try this after getting my SGW Bypass Dongle and finding the SGW in Duc8!

Re: Ducato 8 (model 2022)
Byte 67 = Fuel Tank Capacity: Hex to decimal + 9 (liter) ;
Byte value 27(hex) = 39(dec) + 9 = 48liter
Byte value 51(hex) = 81(dec) + 9 = 90liter

For everyone else who needs to connect to X295 or Duc8 with MES - use FIAT TIPO BodyComputer connection...
But it is on your own risk! I Did not try to do proxi alignment procedure with that connection...
