Grazie!

--------

According to what is written in this table: http://www.glmsoftware.com/ScantoolReview.aspx
elmscan 5 is a clone interface of real elm327 device. (Better then "chinese" clone over internet, but still a clone chip.)

So if you have to buy a new one a really better choice is OBDPro http://www.obdpros.com/ or OBDLink from scantool.net

@EnIgMa
I understan Italian but I can't write, so in this case I'll ask you in english.
You can replay in italian if it's easy for you.
The question is that tool OBDLINK working with multiecuscan, never mind if its clone or not?
Much more than that you can make a firmwear upgrade.
So do you have this tool and it's working with multiecuscan or not?
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
I'll speak english because it's this forum language. :)

i don't own either OBDLink or OBDPro; I use a bluetooth elm327 device that i almost proved it uses a clone chip and it works great!
So, it doesn't matter if your device has an original elm chip or not, the point is: the device has to work properly.
I mean, the way the device is made has to be a good way.
The device has to communicate correctly with computer AND with the ecu's.

You can't know how it will work before the purchase but you know that a cheap clone could work fine as well as an "Original" product. :) (on multiecuscan of course and some other softwares) :)
