Incorrect readings on the selespeed ECU?

I have a Stilo Abarth selespeed.
I have try to use this software (rel 2.2) to connect to selespeed ecu. I used trial version and elm 327 cable.
I found 2 problems:
Reading of some parameters is incorrect, as example:
% of accelerator does not rise above 20%
Speed is much lower than that marked by tachometer
adding the distances traveled in different gears you get about 60000 instead of 100000 (and km in reverse gear is 0)
and other value that now I dont remember.
But some value are correct. Example: Rpm.
The second problem:
As I read some parameters with the key to MAR position appeared on the display of the car "lost connection" and heard some actuator was operated continuously.
I had to turn off the car.

That isn't related to FES - it's your ECU.
FES can only display what it gets from the ECU - and that works fine with FES.
Sounds like the Sele ECU doesn't receive proper data from engine ECU. Check your CAN connection between both ECU's.

As to your interface problems - check your laptop resp. COM port settings.
