You might have to edit the proxy file length to the same length as your original file. I believe it should have 85 bytes (85 2-digit numbers).

That's what we cuurently have, a custom bytes data of 85 bytes: 33 32 31 35 30 30 30 30 38 31 39 4F 55 54 50 55 54 2D 4A 49 54 20 08 07 02 6F 84 00 04 12 00 00 00 29 00 00 04 12 00 00 00 80 C0 75 06 FE 00 17 20 AA 80 00 06 00 01 00 94 06 01 01 00 00 00 00 60 7A 51 0A 0C 0D 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 31 02 51 00 00 00 00

Sorry. I can't decode it so you'll just have to try it and see if will align.

yes

Well I have all my menu's but my base 500 mode won't change, when I switch from byte 65 = 00 to 60 or any other as a matter of fact and I got the 2015 no uconnect cluster on my u.s. model abarth, I'm confused as hell since I followed all the instructions.

Hello, I’ve changed my analog screen to the TFT and I’d like to help me if someone can.
With custom proxy, which number I have to change to make the red screen (g) of abarth 500 like a genuine.Thank you very much for your time.

What year is your Abarth and what year is the TFT screen?

You should change the value in Byte 65 to "20" however, as per alex-et3 in earlier posts, you may need a new BCM from Fiat for the 2016> Sport screen (rev counter in the centre of the TFT) to work. I asked Fiat for a price of a new BCM - £1250 GBP!!

Did you have any success with the shortened Hex string @ 85 bytes?

Thank you for the answer!!
I just asked if I could make another change and show up.
My abarth model year is 2012 and the screen is in 2016 but it works normally.
Thanks again!

We already have the 85 bytes Hex String and everything is fine regarding the TFT configuration except the flashing odometer. We were busy with my friends and we didn't progress on this issue, moreover he was waiting for a new canbus module for his Android head unit that seems to be part of the issue. He received the canbus module last week and we will continue to nvestigate ;)

Does anyone know the exact procedure to connect the uconnect 5 to a pre restyling 500 abarth, with TFT version uconnect, just to adjust the date and time? I have an elm327 + adapter 3 and MES with regular license. Thank you
