Hello together, I have a portuguese FIAT Panda 2018 model 312 with 1.2 (1242ccm) 8V with 51 kW (69 HP) VAR: PXA1A VER: P0AJ.
I have a registered Multiecuscan v4.6R1 and use a compatible EML327 interface.
I can connect to the car successfully and I can read out the data but I get an error message for the engine control:
Motorsteuerung / ECM
UNKNOWN/UNSUPPORTED
ISO Code: 00 01 50 94 14
Bordcomputer / BCM (Body Computer Module)
Body Computer Delphi (846)
ISO Code: 40 83 F4 8A 16
ABS ASR VDC / ABS/BSM (Brake System Module)
Bosch ABS 9 ESP
ISO Code: EC 07 B3 0D 08
Elektronische Lenkunterstützung / EPS (Electric Steering Module)
Delphi Electric Steering
ISO Code: 31 83 1C 8A 2F
Can anyone help to fix that problem?
many thanks
Anona

Really nobody can help me? I thought this is the official Multiecuscan support forum, no? Am I the only person who was such a problem?

Hi
You are sort of right that this is/was the official support forum for registered users but these days (and for a long time) it is more of a User supporting User place.
Yani does occasionally pop by but is really busy on the development of MES.
All registered users/purchasers of MES can contact MES support directly for assistance.
With regards to your problem you should still be able to connect to the engine ECU but may find parameters missing or not working properly.
What you can try is looking for vehicles in the supported vehicles lists of engines the same type. Select that vehicle instead.
How MES works is is that all control units have unique ISO codes. MES is coded to definitely support a specific code but is able to read "common" and certainly "legal required EOBD" parameters.
At each release of MES new units and ISO codes are added.
What I don't know is if for each vehicle the ISO code has to be defined to that vehicle selection or if MES just reads the ISO code of a unit and then looks it up in a database of all "known and coded" control units. This is why I said you can try and other vehicle listing with similar/same engine.
