Only those units as supplied by MES Approved Suppliers.

See: http://www.multiecuscan.net/Distributors.aspx

They cost a little more but the suppliers are familiar with MES, will provide help/support to help you.

Buying other kit elsewhere is perfectly possible and may prove to be OK *BUT* as this whole forum thread shows there are potentially many issues ahead.

I have a Ducato 250 but can not reset service interval, I only can connect to motor and that is all
I bought my ELM327 7-8 years ago in Germany for my Doblo and it works fine in the Doblo, I could reset oil change message and service interval en forced regeneration and so on
Why work it fine in the Doblo but not in the Ducato ?
Could it be this topic problem and should I fix it for the Ducato or is it something else ?

Maybe as it is a newer car you need a new cable. Have you checked your model here to see what cables do you need? https://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx

Yes it just say ELM
I have the Fiat Ducato (type 250) 2.3 Multijet
Not the Facelift !
What can be the difference between connecting the Doblo type 223 cargo 1.9 JTD/Multijet and Ducato ? I see no difference between those 2 in the list

Yeah, it says only ELM in both cases. Maybe your ELM cable is older than the ELM 327 v1.3+/OBDLink/OBDKey interface that says in the list.

This forum is pretty empty and nobody responds. I have been trying to turn off the fucking oil light for more than a year and I haven't been able to do it yet. I have bought 2 cables and expended like 40€ and they haven't worked.

These are the 2 cables that I have bought: https://postimg.cc/ctW9k5Br

The ELM and the A3 yellow adapter, just as it says in the list but it didn't worked either. I think the problem is the ELM cable that has the problem of the resistance as is said in this thread but whatever, I don't know how to fix that so the fucking oil light will still be there.

I can reset the oil service light because I can connect to the motor ecu but I can not connect to service so I can not reset service interval
I also bought the yellow cable and I have the ELM 1.5 but no connection to the service interval
What annoys me is that I can do that and more in my Doblo
Now I bought the StarDiag from the list http://www.multiecuscan.net/HowToUse.aspx but I have not receive it yet.
As soon as I have it I try it and will let you know but I think the Stardiag will do the job because EMS advice that interface

In my case I have to connect first to the Service Interval Reset module and then to the motor module to do something related to the DPF filter. I can connect to the motor module but not to the Service Interval Reset one. I thought it was because I needed the yellow adapter but no I think the problem is the cable itself.

I'm going to ask for this other cable https://www.multiecuscan.it/en-us/elm-327-v-1.4-modificata-per-multiecuscan-con-software-free/ to see if that is what I need for my Fiat Punto Evo.

I don't understand how the fucking car manufactures don't allow you to turn the damn oil change light from the dashboard. I don't think it is so difficult to do. Well, I know they do it like this so you have to take it to a car workshop and pay for the oil change and to turn the stupid light off. The love of money is the root of all problems. Greed is the root of all problems.

So same problem as I have but I can reset oil change light because it is in the motor module of my Ducato with DPF
