Desired Air Quantity not rising on idle

Post by cac »

hi, I've got some fuel consumption/acceleration issues in Tipo 1.6 MJ and started to look after air flow/temperature readings and found something really strange. If I push acceleration pedal on idle, Air Quantity rises but Desired Air Quantity does not. How can it be? How DAQ is being calculated btw? I'm not sure if I can relay on readings while driving if it seems not to work on idle.

When driving mostly DAQ and AQ equels but sometimes they not (same situation - AQ is much higher then desired) - the question is if driving readings are accurate then or not?

here is example: Image

red -vehicle speed
green - rpm
dark blue - intake air quantity
light blue - desired air quantity
