Hello!, thanks for reading.
Before creating this thread, I've searched the forum to see if there are other people with my issue.
I've found many threads about BT ELM327 connection issues, even talking about opening the connector to remove or add stuff...
But that's not my case, because the ELM327 adapter works perfectly with other software, such as ScanMaster-ELM on pc and Torque on Android.
So the adapter is fine, gives information and everything...
So it seems I'm not being able to use Multiecuscan, just this SW is giving me issues.
From all the other threads that I've read, none of them are conclusive or resolved.
Do I need to be registered to connect to modules that are marked as RED?
While in the configuration panels, if I search for interfaces (while the BT being paired to the adapter), it does not find any interface.
Also, the BT connection to the adapter breaks during this interface scan...
So I'm a bit lost here...
What I want to do is to change my service coupons value from 0 to 9 to re-enable services reminders...
Thank you!.
Can't connect via Bluetooth ELM327
Re: Can't connect via Bluetooth ELM327
I changed adapter, and now I can connect.
But after scanning for available modules, only one appears for my Fiat Punto 1.4 (international, from Brazil)
Only the module for the motor.
Test of the interface ends successfully, finding a 1.4 ELM adapter.
Test of the interface ends also ok, stating all CAN modules should be compatible.
Ideas?, is it expected to have only one module available?
Or this is still not a fully 100% compatible interface?.
Thank you.

Re: Can't connect via Bluetooth ELM327
A bad CAN termination resistor causes this symptom. I guess there is a CAN bus fault stored in the ECU if you connect and read it out.
You can read more about this in the faulty elm interfaces demystified topuc. Try to disassemble and post high quality photos of the internal board.

Thank you for your feedback.
Yes, I've been reading the topic you mentioned, but there are more doubts than certainties there...
There are hundreds (if not thousands) of messages, most unanswered...
About that "CAN bus fault stored in the ECU", how can I try reading that?
Is that a DTC code?
Thank you.

Re: Can't connect via Bluetooth ELM327
Try connrcting to the module you found, the engine. Then switch to the faults tab to read the fault.
Or just scan DTC.
But that's not really important, the ELM you have is 99% faulty, but can be "repaired". You have to open the case and remove the 120 ohm resistor. To be sure before opening, measure resistance with a multimeter between pins 6 and 14 of the ELM's OBD connector. You should read around 120 ohms. If that's the case, you can open it and post a picture.
