LANCIA MUSA KEY REMOTE

After replacing battery the remote is not locking/unlocking the doors.
- The LED flashes so the battery is ok, installed a new one.
- The spare key remote locks/unlocks so the issue is not with the central locking system.

Is there some routine to register the key remote with switching the key ON/OFF. Does someone knows the exact routine for Lancia key, I've tried couple for other car brands but with no success.

tried the key in key out etc. that does not work.
I take it I will need to obtain a licence to do this via the elm237.
I have 2 proper keys that I presume are original keys, one remote and one non remote that still has the plastic thing with numbers on.

I would not normally respond to posts like this regarding key programming / security / etc. as I'm not expert, even familiar, with the details.

Before you purchase an MES license I would suggest you contact MES directly to clarify what you are trying to do and your specific vehicle.
