ELM Device Question

Hello guys! I bought a ELM327 device from ebay (picture attached) and I couldnt make it work, something changed on the printer board. Could I do something to fix it? Looking a new one to buy, I find ELM327 device with 25K80 chip and CH340 driver, will it work? I would not like buy trash again. Thank u so much in advance.

Wow, that's a chip-on-board design, the ultimate in low cost production! You're not going to be able to tell what device is on board other than what the computer can identify via the USB bus, which won't be much! One thing is certain though, that's not a genuine ELM device!
