Hello,
A friend of mine is asking me if i can help him with an "oil change" alert issue...
He has a grande punto 1.9mjet with dpf from factory; now is a bit tuned with bigger turbo, straight exhaust (removed dpf), closed egr....blablabla remap (so egr/dpf also are deactivated into the ecu).
During these years he is still having that message on the dashboard. (to change the engine oil)
Today I fixed some things as he swapped the dashboard from an abarth.....removed all the errors i got over the time, executed the service reset.
Still having that alert. :\
Anything related to the dpf system?
anything i can do with mes?
thanks

Re: Grande punto 1.9mjet oil change question
The oil change reset is in the engine ECU node. Connect to engine ECU and then go to the Adjustments tab. There you will find the oil change.

Re: Grande punto 1.9mjet oil change question
You need to do 2 resets, one is for the service, and the other (I think the one is boring you ) is on the Engine ECU, and it is the oil quality, for cars with DPF.
