Even without modification you should be able to connect to the engine control unit with the interface.

The resistor may only cause problems for CAN bus controllers.
And the motor control of the 159 is not read via CAN bus.

You have established all the settings

I have this ELM327 v1.5 Wifi and I can't connect to CAN interfaces (Body). Only engine.
The car is Fiat Stilo.

It's the same problem with a resistor? Which one please?

Hello guys, i have chinese Elm327 Bluetooth, but some 2016 version i doubt it can be done to connect with CAN, even to see the board, but although i will post picture of the board if someone know something?

the Motor ecu ist read not with CAN Bus
Also your connect must with no one modifikation

I thought it already this interface is not compatible with MES and also AlfaOBD

There are only a few v1.5 ELM interfaces that work.

This has nothing to do with a bridge resistor.

Thanks a lot anyway Eddy. I thought that v1.5 will not be a problem, becouse my WiFi version is also 1.5 and do not have this problem, but anyway...which version of bluetooth is best?
