Hello Fefe

Make please times a test in settings / interfaces / Test

And adjust the screen here

To read the Guilettas as described yellow Adapter

and for the Stilo still the green adapter

And you need for Airbag a KKL Interface

Hi

I am the happy owner of an Alfa 159 2.2 JTS.
I bought a ELM327 Wifi. I can only connect to the engine module for the moment.
I would be able to reset my Service indicator. And to do that I'd like to connect to the Service module.

I bet it means that I have to remove a resistor.
There are so many board layouts that I did not manage to guess which one.

Full res here: http://www.googledrive.com/host/0B7dgk3 ... lZ0ai1pN2c

I have a suspicion on the 121 resistor at the bottom and center of the image.

Could you be so kind to confirm thats the one to remove?

Best regards

Hello Fabrice

Yes this is the bridge resistor that must be removed !!

Could you please have a link of this interface here Set
and a screen of the test in MES / Settings / Interfaces ??

Because there are more and more new ELM interface on the market
who can not work with MES.

Meanwhile, it is difficult to suggest interface.

Hi

First, thanks for the answer !

I bought the interface here:
http://www.dx.com/p/elm327-obd-wi-fi-au ... lue-321243
For the moment I can tell you that MES reports that it connects successfully to the ELM. I can connect to the Engine module and read / clear the errors. Nothing else though (with the resistor).
I can also connect with my iPhone using some free OBD II utilities.

I'll make a snapshot of MES as soon as I try it again with the resistor removed (probably next week end).
And I ll also keep you posted if it works fine.

Best regards

Hello guys,

I'm using a cheap chinese ELM 327 which doesn't work with MultiEcuScan even when it was original (with the resistor), this is the module:

As you can see i've already removed resistor R34 (120 Ohm) but i have the same error in MultiEcuScan.
With Torque, ScanMaster and PCMSCAn it's working fine.

Code: Select all

COMMAND: ATZ
RESPONSE: ATZ

ELM327 v2.1

Hello

As you can see in the test screen, this is a software on the chip
V2.1

And the v2.1 does not run with MES or AlfaOBD

Why this is so I can not say

This would require more Yani can say.

Thank you Eddy!!

In this case i will continue to use this module only with the software mentioned before (Torque, ScanMaster, PCMSCAN)

What version of elm 327 should I buy to make sure it's working correctly?

I have a Fiat Grande Punto 1.3 Mjet 66kW/90HP (2007) with a Marelli 6F3

P.s.: Do i need to re-solder R34 or I leave the module modified?
