Hello,

I've bought a bluetooth interface to use it in my Giulietta on my phone with Torque and on PC with MES.
My interface is an iCarSoft i620 (http://www.icarsoft.com/web/icarsoftus/ ... lk3_1.html) witch is compatible with all ELM327 protocols :
• SAE J1850 PWM(41.6Kbaud)
• SAE J1850 VPW(10.4Kbaud)
• ISO9141-2(5 baud init,10.4Kbaud)
• ISO14230-4 KWP(5 baud init,10.4 Kbaud)
• ISO14230-4 KWP(fast init,10.4 Kbaud)
• ISO15765-4 CAN(11bit ID,500 Kbaud)
• ISO15765-4 CAN(29bit ID,500 Kbaud)
• ISO15765-4 CAN(11bit ID,250 Kbaud)
• ISO15765-4 CAN(29bit ID,250 Kbaud)
• SAE J1939 CAN(29bit ID,250*Kbaud)
• USER1 CAN(11*bit ID,125*Kbaud)
• USER2 CAN(11*bit ID,50*kbaud)

It works well with Torque but I can't connect to ECU (link problem) even all commands test are OK...
I've tired all link rates, buffer/no buffer (in advance COM port configuration link, trough Windows devices management).
I've a generic Bluetooth dongle.
Tested with MES 2.5 on Windows 8.1.
I've just sent a report (15h20 GMT+2)

Thanks for helping me

Hello Ultraboss

Whether this interface is compatible with MES, I do not know

Point times connect to the interface and press in
MES / Settings / Interfaces / Test button

And adjust the screen here to see whether the interface with MES works

Cette interface est compatible avec ELM 327 1.4! Devrait pouvoir se connecter correctement avec tous les modules CAN.

Do you need something else ??

Hello Ultraboss

After your screen your ELM should work.
So can make the connection issues only the bridge resistor

On many pages in this thread almost all ELM interface are listed
and marked the bridge resistor from me.

Otherwise, a good picture of your board and make the site a Image here

I've already thought of this and tested pins 6 & 14 with an ohmmeter, they are not connected...

Hello Magnetic

Here the theme is about Italian cars and Multiecuscan

Your problem has something to do with the software you want to read with your vehicles.

Hello Persia

This pass (Resistor + capacitor) I have not have to solder in any interface.
Neither current interface I did not get to run it.

But where you have v1.3 Interface ago ????
I've not seen.
Because they had no resistor bridges

But when I see in your screen you have a comport of another driver needs.

Try it once with this driver

http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Page ... ivers.aspx

And remove the self-soldered components

Hello Guys,

I purchased a ELM327 bluetooth from e-bay to use it on my Vauxhall astra 2001 1.8 16V. I can't connect it currently with Scanmyopel lite on Android 4.4.2 "No response from ECU".

I started to read topics about to add compatibilty by soldering pins 3-7-12 together , but before to try any hardware modification I would like to confirm which ELM323 I have got  , I was looking for V1.4 (apparently most compatible version) but when I opened the box it doesn't look like something I can identify :o :

Which version of ELM327 do you think it is ?

Do I have to perform any hardware modification to get it working with my configuration  ?

Thanks in advance for your help.
