FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
All CAN access but no Proxy Alignment
Hello again Alfaeddy:
I have desoldered the R1 resistor on my ELM327 Wifi as you say me on my previous message (page 143).
Inmediatelly I got access to "Body Computer Marelli" and "CAN Info" but the problem on my Alfa GT JTD 1.9 16V (2004) is that we had changed the unit of the windows/mirrors on the driver's door and (I think) I need to do an alignment to put it on work.
I can now enter, in addition to the engine, to the dashboard and the climatic unit. The program ask to me for the green/red cables to access lights, airbag or ABS (I know this must be that way). I can enter and make changes without troubles on SERVICE, but every time I had atempt to do a "CAN Setup/PROXY Alignment Procedure" the response is: FAILLED CONNECTION Unreliable communication detected!.
I have put a new battery on the car that have an output of 12,66V on my tester. My PC is about only 1,5 metters away from the car with the driver's door open but all seems impossible to gain acces to the alignment procedure.
Please, have you any idea about what may be my problem and what could be the solution?

I'm from Germany and bought an ELM Bluetooth Dongle, see photos.
I have a Ford Focus 2003, and can't get any connection to the car's ECU. I think it's the J1850 PWM protocoll.
Can anyone tell me what to modify/solder ?

Mit welcher Software möchtest du deinen Ford auslesen ?
Die hier beschriebenen Fehler/Verbindungsprobleme haben nichts mit deinem Verbindungsproblem zu tun.
Den Ford Focus 2003 meines Vaters lese ich mit Scan Master ELM aus
und das im KWP2000 Protokoll
Mit Multiecuscan kommst du da nicht weiter

Die hier beschriebenen Fehler/Verbindungsprobleme haben nichts mit deinem Verbindungsproblem zu tun.

Such an error I had already
and it did not manage to make a proxy alignment.
It may be this is a better connection with a USB interface possible.
But this is just a guess
I had at that time in an Alfa GT, a flashing Km / h display
And the connection is always aborted with an error.
After a few kilometers the flashing of himself disappeared.
By that I mean it can be the identification of parts to function independently.

ich habe die App "Torque" und "Bosch fun2drive" auf dem Smartphone.
Mit dem Adapter kann ich jedes Fahrzeug auslesen, nur nicht meinen Ford Focus (No response from ECU).
Ich habe hier gesehen, dass mit Löten oder Entfernen oft solche Probleme behoben werden können.
Daher dachte ich, vielleicht hat jemand einen Tipp?!

Mit Torque habe ich noch nicht versucht auf den Focus zu kommen.
Ich denke aber das der Ford zu alt ist (Software seitig) und Torque nichts mit den Daten
anfangen bzw umrechnen kann.
Versuche es mal mit mit Forscan.org , ist aber keine Android Software

For which vehicle ?? Model ?? Year ??
To read the CAN bus protocol must be modified this ELM interface.
If you want to read with MES

ES gibt einen Software nur für Ford. Es heißt "FORscan". Hier is web site: http://forscan.org/home.html
"FORscan" Software ist sehrt gut Software. Es ist frei, kostenlos und es gibt Möglichkeit andere ECU zu sehen. Sehr gut, einfach und besser als ELM.
