FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)

Hello

I've buyed a ELM interface and have the problem that my unit needs a mod, cause i cant connect to body ecu and dashboard.
Can anyone tell me which resistors need to mod?

Maybe can anyone help me with my not working interface.

Hello Klaassen

With this ELM Interface you can not read a Body or Dashboard , right ?

Remove the yellow marked Resistor and your ELM can read this Controls

Hello everybody, can someone take a look at my ELM327 ?

I bought a ELM327 1.5 a (alu) to reset my service interval on Fiat Bravo 2 1.6 jtd.

All connection tests are OK and i can connect multiecuscan to my engine but i cannot connect to service interval reset. Multiecuscan alway's ask me to check my connection parameter or cable.

I have read lot of forums that's sayind to remove R04 resistor but my ELM is different.

Thank you Alfaeddy. The interface could now connect to the body ecu and powersteerring.
Now i have to find an program which can do a proxy allignment on my brothers punto.

Resitor R4 its Wrong , you must Remove only the Resitor R2 (1200)
then you can read with your Interface the CAN Protokolls with Multiecuscan.

Hi I have an interface V1.5a, same picture red card in the previous post, I remove a R04 resistor, so I can connect to CAN and service interval reset, I can modify a last service date or das till next service but I CAN'T reset KM when I execute next service km reset or next oil change km reset inmediatelly I receive FAIL.

Just in case number of service are in 7 service interval 10,000 KM

Distance till next service are in 0km and fail too trying change it.

Fiat Idea 1.8 8V year 2006

All other option work without problem.
