Because the Engine ECU it is on k-line
Try it other car with Engine ECU on k-line and if you cannot connect then we will see

The Motorecu your 159 is not read via CAN bus. Therefore, your ELM should
make any connection problems.
A Modifiktation your ELM is not necessary
All other controllers can you read?
I would again check the driver.
And the settings should be checked.

Hello,
Some extra nfo about my problem.
Everthing works, except connection to engine ECU.
I had a fault u1602, wich was erased and did not came back.
I tried various settings, nothing helps.
See attachments, are these settings correct?

One think first mat
Latency for ELM will remain default = 16
Then try to use a new FTDI driver from www.ftdichip.com ( yours it is 2009 )
Then who told you to change bit per secon at 38400?
Let it default at 9600
If all of this will not help you try to check the Engine ECU in other k-line car
Your tool it is CAn BUS compatible and you do not need to do any chanmge in this
But if in other car you'll not be able to connect to a K-line ECU ( Engine ECU especially ) then your tool k-line it is damage.

Thank you for your response,
I tested on a peugeot 206, with EasyODBII, i can connect to the engine ECU and all others,
EasyOBDII does not work on my car,
I updated the new FTDI driver as you said,
No connection to the engine ECU,
I traid several settings, latency 1 and 16...
The interface automaticly selects 38400 bits per second, all tests OK
Still no connection to engine ECU
Do i need an adapter cable to connect? eg for ABS?
Or is there somthing wrong with the cables in the car? It seems OK

in my opinion if you are able to connect in a Peugeot 206 in Engine ECu ( which is on k-line on pin 7 ) and your Engine ECu it is on pin 7 ( k-line ) too then your tool has no problem
The problem it is in your car.
You don't need any adaptor for Engine ECU but for ABS you need an adaptor because ABS it is on pin 1

Hi i Have problem with my ELM which resistor i should remove R4 or R14. All test give OK result, so i need to only remove, but which:)?

I think no one it is the rezistance that you need to remove it
Check the rezistance between MCP2551 pins 6 and 7.
That one you need to remove no matter what number it has.
To be sure if you need to remove anything you have too check if there's a 120 Ohm between OBD pins 6 and 14 ( CAN H and CAN L )

This should be better image. So i need to check pins 6 and 14 (not 4 and 16?) and if there be 120 Ohm i should remove which rezistence? And what is this MCP2551? Cuz when i plug this to my car i can chcek only ecu. On other moduls i have this message.

Yes that's right better pics
Now first of all as i said you have to check to see if you have any rezistance between OBD pins 6 ( CAN High ) and pins 14 (CAN Low )
using a multimeter.
If there's no rezistance ( 120 Ohm ) then you don;t need to remove anything
MCP2551 it is CAN transciver and as I see in the pics ( a btter one ), this one it is near the LED's ( 8 pins chip ) and it isn't any 120 OHm there between MCP pins 7 and 8. i saw the right and clasic configuration with 100Ohm + 560pf serial from pins MCP pins 6 and 7 to the GND
But you have the tool in your hand and use a multimeter to check what i told you.
Now in your first pics you need to use an adaptor if you want to conect to the ABS ( i suppose that it is Bosch 5.7 not 8 in your car ) which is allways on OBD pin 1 ( take a look what adaptor you need )
But the rezistance if there's one ( as I said I'm preatty sure that there's no resistance between OBD pins 6 and 14 ) you have to remove it if you want to connect to the CAN Bus controlers as BCM in your car.
