Kkl interface don' work on airbag

Hi everyone and sorry my english.

I have post this question on various italian forums,but nobody can solve my problem

I wanna connect my airbag module 'cause have an error
The problem is that i can't connect on it.
The software don't find the interface

Software work with no problem with engine and abs module,but not with airbag
I have a Fiat coupe 1.8 16v '96 and have a 3pin adapter.

I try to reduce the speed of interface port,try to reinstal the drivers with new one,try to don't connect +12v,reinstall the software.I have try many things....but nothing...dont wanna work.

For me it's very important solve this problem,because i don't wanna drive with the check of airbag always on,and have an airbag that don't work in case of crash.

I really hope you can help me,and don't like in my country.

I've check the connector but seems to be ok.

12v of 3 pin adapter need to be connect or not?

Right on 3 pin adapter must fit a 12 volt constant voltage!

Since you can access the engine ECU and the ABS but
you're not sure the error airbag


Controlling times the cable to the airbag control unit!

Today i have control every cable on the 3 and the 7 cables of airbag module.
All cables are ok,but i continue to don't connect

Are the airbag cables connected to airbag ecu?

Yes.
One is the negative,one comunication cable,and other one go till airbag of driver

So problem could be:
- or your airbag ECU is not suported with MES,
- or airbag installation in your car is not ok - maybe fuse or wires or connectors are disconnected somewhere...

Had same problem on some older Fiats and still did not find solution...

I've check every cable of airbag other day,and nothing is broken.

My airbag ecu is supported by the software (i've see in the supported section)

Last things i can think....is the cable of steering airbag...but i not sure.


I have read in some place that when a mechanical connect the fiat-lancia tester,need to connect a kind of resistance.
Maybe i will do the same?

Even if your assumption would be correct with the steering wheel airbag
you should still first time to connect to the airbag control unit
can.

For which the Fiat Lancia Examiner requires a resistor I do not know
