Bluetooth ELM327 and adaptor cables

I would like to purchase an ELM327 scanner for my Fiat punto Mk2b (1.2 8v), and i wanted to ask if the adaptor cables (red, yellow, green)
work with the bluetooth version of ELM327 or only with USB?

Of course you can use the adapters with a Bluetooth ELM.
Since there is no difference.


Just have to say that a WiFi ELM produces a more stable connection, instead of a Bluetooth ELM

All clones ELM 327 (made in China) have resitor problem...

Not all clone interface!
There are also some that do not have this bridge resistor
Only there is no general valid types

Up to version v1.3 ELM ELM were without this resistor

I agree with you. You are right.
But right now it is very hard to find 1.3 version on eBay.
Maybe you can find it but when you connect it is usually 1.4 version or higher and in 70-80% of them you have resistor inside...
In general people are buying the cheapest one and those usually have resistors.

I have that 1.3 version. Still works perfectly even after 1-2 years of everyday use. I never opened it. But it cost me a lot (comparing to prices right know).
If people buy from sellers who also selling MES licenses I am sure those interfaces are OK. Maybe they have 1.3 version...
